Rebranding of AMVID
The Army Multimedia Visual Information Division is a visual, photography, and broadcasting section servicing the military and government leadership in the nation's capital that was searching for a rebranding.
To start off with branding, I focused my efforts on intertwining the three major components of AMVID. Photography, Television, and Graphics all work together to make sure different needs are met in the organization. The logotype iterations helped me focus the outer shape to combine the smaller iconographic elements into a symbol that means creative thinking and new ideas - the lightbulb. The iterations also helped me focus on what the branding typeface should feel like.
